Description: This class builds on the skills of Youth Ballet 1 and is most appropriate for students with ballet experience or older students within the age range. Instruction will continue to center around foundational technique while adding complexity to barre work, center work, and dance routines. We will focus on executing proper technique for Youth 1 skills as well as learning more complex steps such as fondu, glissade, and soutenou. Dance lessons help build strength, flexibility, confidence, and respect for self and others. Instructor approval required.

Notes:
Instructor approval required. The following items are required before the first class: Girls need a black or pink leotard and pink tights. Boys need black or navy shorts and a white t-shirt that is fitted enough to not get in their way when moving. All children need ballet shoes and hair must be out of the face. Ballet skirts are optional.
