Description
Join the Chaska Bike Club to explore the Chaska trails and surrounding areas. Learn about bike safety, riding in a group, navigating trails using apps and way points while getting out in the fresh air. This is a community ride led by experienced cyclists with a passion for building community, not competition. We are a no-drop ride, that means no one will be left behind. We plan to ride 60-90 minutes per session, roughly 5-15 miles. Your mileage may vary. We will explore mostly paved trails, some crushed rock trails and an occasional road. Our focus is on showing you the area and all it has to offer, by bike, and get some exercise too! Safety note: all riders must show up with a fitted helmet, a working bicycle* when they arrive for the club. We will do a helmet and bike safety check before the ride. *Ride leaders recommend bikes get a tune up a bike shop prior to the first ride.
Inclement weather: If we need to cancel due to inclement weather, registered participants will be notified.

Volunteer Bike Club Guides:
Bob Lincoln
Bob has been an avid biker his entire life and has shared his knowledge, passion and skills with others in a variety of ways. Bob has led many bike tours for riders of all ages and abilities, and was the director for the Tour of Minnesota for 8 years.
(Fun fact: Bob received a speeding ticket on his bike at the age of 14. He was going 35 mph in a 25 mph zone.)
Lynn Gregory
Lynn is currently the head coach for the local middle school mountain bike team with over 30 years of biking experience. Lynn is passionate about teaching skills that will contribute to a safe and fun biking experience.
Jeff Olmsted
Jeff has been a bike enthusiast for fifty years, since he first laid eyes on his older brother’s Schwinn Stingray (and its banana seat) in the early 1970’s. He enjoys exploring the incredible trail network in and around Chaska and beyond and is looking forward to meeting a like-minded group of bikers.
