Description
If you have successfully completed a state-approved, 8-hour defensive driving course, you are eligible to take this 4-hour course to renew your 3-year insurance discount certificate.
This Defensive Driving Course, developed by the National Safety Council, reviews basic crash prevention techniques. It's taught by experienced, professional traffic safety instructors, including officers of the MN State Patrol. The class consists of lecture, films and discussions. There is no behind-the-wheel driving and there are no tests.
After finishing this class, you will receive a certificate of completion to give to your insurance company for the 10% renewal discount.
This class is offered in-person at the Senior Center. There is no remote zoom option.
