Jan 25, 2020
12 yrs +, Mixed
Activity locationTML and Gull Crest
Description
Join members of the Southern Maine Astronomers for an evening of guided stargazing at Gull Crest. Participants will meet at the CELT office to go over the basics of reading star charts before heading to Gull Crest for observation with binoculars, telescopes, and the naked eye. Depending on visibility, we may be able to see planets up close, explore craters on the moon, and view galaxies many light years away.
Due to the temperamental nature of New England skies, please keep January 25th in mind as a snow/cloud postponement date. Register at least 48 hours in advance to make sure you hear if the event is rescheduled!
