Description:
Enjoy learning this beautiful art form. Beginning, as well as advanced students learn and practice the skills, techniques, and philosophy of traditional Xieyi style (free style). Learn about the traditions, symbolism, and culture in Chinese art. Step-by step handout and hands-on instruction. No previous experience necessary.
March 14--15 Chinese Narcissus Flower
All students receive hands-on instruction and detailed lesson plans to take home. Please bring to class: *felt (at least 24x24 inches), *landscape brush or *orchid/bamboo brush, *leaf vein brush, *schuen paper, *watercolors and watercolor palette (white plate will do), saucer for ink, *Chinese ink, wide mouth jar to hold water.
