Description:
Demonstration by instructor on how to make construction grade gingerbread. Cutting out of house pieces including how to make windows that can be lit in finished house with a battery operated tealight. How to bake the pieces. A "secret" method for putting together house pieces that will insure they don't fall apart before decorating. Demonstration on how to make a sturdy frosting for use in decorating houses. Then the real fun begins! Workshop attendees will get to decorate their own houses using a fun assortment of candies, to take home at the end of class. Everything to decorate a house will be provided. House patterns, recipes and resource lists will be given out during the class.
