Description
This checking clinic is intended for birth years 2009-2014 and is strongly recommended for any player that is looking to gain knowledge and confidence when it comes to body contact.
We will cover respect and attitude as it pertains to learning what body contact is all about.
On the ice, we will cover the fundamentals of angling, body position, stick position, stick checking, competitive contact and body checking.
We will put body contact into practice through station-based drills and small area games.
