Description: If you're a teen and want to get an opportunity to learn first-hand what it takes to be a summer camp counselor, this is for you. All CITs will go through an interview process before being selected into the program. An application can be obtained at the Butterfield Park District office. Once selected, CITs will go through a series of meetings and before summer camp begins. Planning meetings will be required for CITs to attend throughout the summer. The fee includes T-Shirts, admission to field trips, and swimming at the pool. This program is designed to enhance the skills and knowledge to become a leader and to participate in team building activities. Applications may be submitted up until May 11th. Interviews will begin in December.
