10U Machine Pitch – Ages 9-10 $60 Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:00-8:00pm June 1-July 16
Grab your bat and your glove and get ready for the Youth Baseball League!
Machine Pitch is for ages 9-10, as of 4/30/21. Practices for the Youth Baseball League will begin the week of June 1. Machine Pitch will have one 1-hour practice per week as scheduled by the volunteer team coach, and one practice per week led by the BV Rec Baseball Practice Facilitator on Mondays from 9:00-11:00am. Machine Pitch games will be on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4:00-8:00pm from June 8-July 16 in Buena Vista, Salida, and Lake County, as scheduled. Some Friday or Saturday games may be scheduled if needed.


Registration for the Youth Baseball League includes a team t-shirt. Participants will receive a free hat if they are new to BV Baseball or if they have outgrown their old hat. Participants can also purchase a new hat for $10. All players should have their own glove. Cleats or running shoes are recommended. Metal cleats are not allowed. White Baseball Pants can be purchased through BV Rec during registration for $15 but are not required.

Registration for 8U Coach Pitch, 10U Machine Pitch, and 12U Live Pitch will include a preseason Skills Clinic and Assessment led by the Buena Vista High School Baseball Team. The Skills Clinic and Assessment will be held Tuesday, May 18 from 6:15-7:30pm at the Buena Vista High School Baseball Field.

Volunteer coaches are needed! Please contact Shane at 719-395-1939 or bvrec@buenavistaco.gov, if interested. Volunteer coaches will receive a discount code for 50% off the registration fee. Scholarships are also available at http://www.buenavistarec.com/scholarships/. Please contact Shane if a participant is interested in playing in an upper age group.
