Ice Skating SHOWTIME: Youth Afterschool Monday
Activity2016 Fall|#7237
Description
Has your child completed several classes of our ice skating lessons and is ready for the next step in the skating world? Enroll him or her in our Showtime program for a chance to perform in front of an audience. All that's needed is for your child to want to shake her/his booty and to learn choreography to a skating routine to be performed in the Winter Ice Show, All That Glitters, held on Friday, December 16 at 7:00pm. No class on October 31.
Basic skating skills are required for this class. For questions regarding skating ability, please contact the Ice Programs Coordinator at (970) 547-7883. Students skate with an instructor on the indoor ice rink to learn new skating skills and choreography. Skate rental is included in program fee. Please be sure that your child dresses accordingly to be skating OUTDOOR. This includes socks, snow pants, jacket, hat and gloves.
Participants are expected to attend all 8 class dates, as it is very important to be present when learning and practicing choreography. Participants must also plan to attend the skate show dress rehearsal on Tuesday, December 13 from 4:30-6:00pm. The costume fee is also included with registration.
Class meets 8 weeks: Mondays, October 17 - December 12.
Transportation is provided from Upper Blue and Breckenridge Elementary. Students not attending Breckenridge schools are encouraged to participate but need to provide their own transportation.
