Ice Skating Lessons: Adult/Teen Tue S1
Activity2016 Fall|#7227
Description
Have you always wanted to learn how to ice skate, but never had the opportunity? We have the perfect solution for you! Sign up for our Teen/Adult Ice Skating Lessons!
This class shares the ice with a Public Skate session, so it could be a perfect opportunity for you to get in a workout while your child practices his or her skating skills.
This Teen/Adult class is for any level of skater, ages 13 and up. Registration includes admission to the Tuesday Public Skate session after class. Drop-ins are not allowed.
Classes are held on the indoor rink, which is approximately 48 degrees, so please dress in warm, comfortable clothing. Mittens or gloves and snow pants are highly recommended for never-ever skaters as they may spend some time on the ice while learning to skate.
NEW this fall!!! The Stephen C. West Ice Arena will utilize the United States Figure Skating Basic Skills Program! Please see below to learn about skills levels.
Skaters are required to pay a one-time annual membership fee to LEARN TO SKATE USA by following the link below. This ensures membership, additional skating information and benefits as a skater in the program. USFS Basic Skills program is for recreational, figure and hockey skaters.
