Description:
Youth Ice Skating Lessons are offered on Tuesday evenings for children ages 3-13. Participants are divided into groups based on age and skill level.
The Stephen C. West Ice Arena will utilize the United States Figure Skating Basic Skills Program! All skaters participating in these classes are required to be Learn to Skate USA members. There is an annual fee of $16 for the year June 1, 2022- June 1, 2023. USFS Basic Skills program is for recreational, figure and hockey skaters. Classes are held on the indoor rink, which is approximately 48 degrees, so please dress in warm, comfortable clothing. Mittens or gloves and snow pants are highly recommended for never-ever skaters as they may spend some time on the ice while learning to skate.
