Description
Learn how fun and creative sketching can be with instructor Eileen McCullough! Whether you are an oil, acrylic, or watercolor artist, sketching will help with planning your composition, value studies, and honing in your design and drawing skills. Learn the benefits of sketching at a large scale to create the blueprint of your next masterpiece.
Supply List
Pencils/Pens: Bring an assortment of what you already have, #2 and HB pencils, mechanical pencils, Markers, sharpies, watercolor, pilot pens, etc.
Water Soluble Graphite: Eileen highly recommends this for sketching, she suggests buying a set or tin from Art Graf.
Paper: A roll or sheets of sketch paper and student grade watercolor paper 11x14 or larger sheets. Eileen likes to use Canson cold press watercolor paper.
Other: Drawing board, assortment of old brushes, water container
Photo References: Eileen will provide some photos but students are encouraged to bring their own inspirations.
