Description
Watercolor is the perfect medium for capturing the essence of mood and atmosphere. In this workshop you will learn how to capture the feeling of fog, mist, rain, and the warmth of a bright sunny day. The use of value, color, edges, and detail to create various light and atmospheric conditions will be discussed and demonstrated. Example paintings and corresponding line drawings will be provided for the class to work from. Students may also bring old paintings or photos and create a new work full of mood and atmosphere.
