Description

Healthy Cooking: Knife Skills and Summer Gazpacho

Celebrate the peak of tomato season with Gazpacho, a refreshing summer classic. This tomato-based soup with a bounty of summer vegetables is a perfect opportunity to learn and hone any cook’s knife skills. Follow along step by step as Mary Collette shares basic knife skills to make healthy cooking easier, and at the end of class participants will have a delicious soup for dinner.

Mary Collette Rogers, Healthy Cooking Instructor, will demonstrate the recipe and knife skills at cooking and cutting speed. Participants are encouraged to cook and chop along with Mary but may also watch the demonstration and make the recipe later. Questions encouraged during class for cooking assistance. This program is sponsored by the generous support of Boulder Seniors Foundation. Please register by Thursday, September 2nd.

All registrants will receive a shopping list one week prior for time to purchase items needed. Recipes and an online link will be emailed one day prior. Print out the recipes and be ready to cook with Mary from home.
