COVID Scams

Americans have lost over $77 M to COVID-19 scams since January 1, 2020. The Federal Communications Commission and the Federal Trade Commission have alerts out on how to protect yourself from using fake websites, responding to fakes calls, texts or social media posts, or donating to fake COVID-19 sites. Join Liz Parker, Community Protection Division - Office of the District Attorney to learn how to spot and avoid these scams. Please register by 4 p.m. the day before the program. Participants will receive a link to this online program after registration via email, or a call-in number if you prefer to participate by phone.
