Iris Folding Art Class
Learn a folding technique in which colored strips of special paper follow a pattern around an iris in the center, creating an artistic card that can be mailed or framed. Two patterns will be completed during class, all paper materials will be mailed beforehand. Participants will also need scotch tape, colored pencils and small scissors. Instructor: Joy Weinstein is a former art teacher for Denver Public Schools who still teaches locally and participates in art events and festivals.
Deadline to register: 4 p.m. October 12.
