Description

This lecture/workshop will focus on three different frequently asked questions about watercolor. J.M. Littleton will cover how to transfer a preliminary drawing to the watercolor paper. An exemplar will be shared and demonstrate how students should set up their papers. Next students will examine ways to cover and work with mistakes, including a demonstration on how to scrub away unwanted marks as well as troubleshooting common mishaps! Lastly, Ms. Littleton will discuss composition and ideas to consider for landscapes - focal point and simplifying will also be addressed.
J.M. Littleton delivers training in a fun and welcoming atmosphere for artists committed to learning. Students of all levels will feel comfortable in a learning environment where individual needs and questions are welcome. Please come join us for this informative and entertaining evening.


Ms. Littleton who resides in Towson, MD. She is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art, BFA, MAT. She founded and owns Littleton School of Art, is a Signature Member of BWS, a College Professor, has won awards at International Watercolor Competitions, and she travels Nationally to give workshops. In addition, she has exhibited with the American Watercolor Society on Fifth Ave. in NY as well as the National Watercolor Society in Los Angeles, CA. Award winning Artist, J.M.
