Description
Head to Seattle for a fun day at Woodland Park Zoo and the adjoining Phinney Ridge neighborhood. Arrive early and see all the amazing furry and feathered friends including the lions, and tigers, and bears and more. The zoo's 92-acres and award-winning exhibits are home to more than 1,000 animals representing 300 species from around the world. In addition, explore nearby gardens and enjoy a no-host meal or your own picnic lunch. Then end the day with an unbelievably delicious afternoon treat at A la Mode Pies. Pack a sack lunch and cold beverage or bring money for food and purchases. Wear weather appropriate clothing and comfortable walking shoes. A cooler will be available for lunches and drinks.
