Description: The purpose of the American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor course is to train instructor candidates to teach courses and presentations in the American Red Cross swimming and water safety program by developing their understanding of how to use the course materials, how to conduct training sessions and how to evaluate participants' progress. This blended learning course is offered for persons interested 16 and older where homework and lectures are completed online prior to each class - proof must be provided. Participants must attend all days, complete all water and oral assignments, and pass all practical skills. An email will be sent prior to the class start date with details of class prerequisites and requirements. Registration Deadline: 3 weeks before class begins.
