Description
Painting: Contemporary Portrait in Oil
Instructor: Edward Duff
In this one-day workshop students will hone their observational skills and learn to capture not only the likeness of their subject, but to express the character. Through value studies and a limited color palette, and with an emphasis on form, light and shadow, edges and proportion, students will learn to simplify as they work with a direct fluid approach to painting.
