Jewelry & Metalsmithing: Surface EmbellishmentInstructor: Terri DworkinA variety of decorative processes (2-3) will be presented/explored throughout the semester. Some to be considered are: bead construction, direct casting, fusion, marriage of metal, metal forming, mokume gane, reticulation, roller printing, and wire weaving. Colorants will also be explored including colored pencils, lacquers, patinas and resin. Jewelry & Metalsmithing DepartmentAll Jewelry/Metals students pay a fee to cover supplies, and the use of tools/studio equipment during the class periods. Enrollment is limited to 10 students per class and all students must wear a mask in the building at all times.- Please bring a small notebook and pencil to class - Wear close-toed shoes and long pants- Bring your own safety goggles, or you can share the studio goggles
