Description
Drawing "Re-Boot" Camp
Instructor: Armin MersmannJoin Armin Mersmann and "Re-Boot" your drawing skills
in this four-day workshop for the art of observation.
Learning how to draw is one of the most important
foundations in art. We all see the world around us,
but do we really look, take in the forms, shapes and
structures as an artist does? Learn how to see and replicate
the light, shadow and details that are all around you and
the difference between observation realism and intellectual
realism; drawing what you see; not what you think you see.
We will especially concentrate on contour drawing
and shading with graphite, and the basics of tonal drawing.
This workshop is a good lead into The Art & Skill of
Drawing 1 that begins Wednesday, September 11,
from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm.
