PASTELS THAT POP!Instructor - Fran SeikalyMATERIALS LIST- Paper to work on; Canson Mi-Tientes (neutral color), Art Spectrum, Wallis or Pastel Premier. (I will have some of this for sale at the first class) or similar papers.- Support board to mount paper on - Foam core, drawing board, Gatorboard- Blue artist tape- Set of hard pastels - Nupastel, Cretacolor, Polychromos or other hard pastels in thin stick form.- Set of soft pastels - Rembrandt, Holbein, etc. (I always bring my pastels, so if there is a color that you don't have, you can use mine. We will discuss the need for pastel pencils during the first class. Conte brand are the best.)- 5 sheets of white copy paper- 2B, 6B drawing pencils- 1 piece of Glassine to protect work in progress.- Reference Photos; bring at least 5 or 6 so that we can decide together which one would be bestIf you have any questions, feel free to contact the BBAC office at 248-644-0866.
