Experience working with clay using basic foundations through an exploration of techniques; learn practical methods of ceramic arts such as wheel throwing,hand-building, decoration and glazing. Dates and times are available for sign up through ceramic technician, Laura Ryan, during the first week of classes. All students will have to rotate open studio time since there is an 10-student maximum per class. Open studios are not intended to take the place of a production studio and are intended to further the education experience.Only work made at BBAC using clay from BBAC, can be glazed and fired at BBAC.Purchasing Clay at the BBACOne 25 lb. bag of clay is included with your class. BBAC offers the service of purchasing additional clay (one bag at a time) and can be purchased at the beginning of your class time.• Limit is three, 25 lb. bags per term• Each 25 lb. bag of Wheat Stone is $17• Each 25 lb. bag of Porcelain is $20
