Description: 

Book Arts + Printmaking: The Printed Book 
Instructor: Laura Beyer 
This class will focus on the creation of handmade books using content created during 
class time. Students will learn versatile printmaking and mark-making techniques to 
use in the creation of one-of-a-kind book structures. Class is designed for beginners 
and more advanced bookmakers alike.

Bone folder  (a dull edged hand-tool used to fold and crease material) 
Sewing needles 
Bookbinding awl 
Scissors
PVA glu
Brush for gluing
Xacto knife and extra blades 
Small cutting mat
Brayer 
Water-based relief printing inks
Piece of plexiglass for rolling ink
