Description

Printmaking: Contemporary Intaglio Printmaking
Instructor: Laura Beyer

This course will cover traditional and contemporary
intaglio printmaking methods including zinc plate
etching, dry point, collagraph, and photosensitive
plates. This class will also cover contemporary
processes such as monoprinting and image
transfer techniques.

This class is designed to be self-directed and
appropriate for all skill levels.

  • Cheap disposable brushes
  • Dry point needle
  • Black Sharpie Marker in varies tip sizes
  • 10 sheets of 19" x 26" BFK or other fine art printmaking paper
  • Large metal ruler optional
  • Metal tear bar optional
  • Assorted papers for printing optional
  • Etching inks optional
  • Metal file optional
