Description
"I am the Lorax! I speak for the trees, and I have a few words to say if you please!" The Lorax is a story about Truffula trees, Thneeds, and the Lorax himself. The story begins with Ted, a 12 year old boy who has grown up in a world with no plants, who is searching for the one thing that will help him win the affection and impress the girl of his dreams: a real live tree. To find one he must learn the story of the Lorax, a grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world, told by the Once-ler, a hermit living outside of town who used to make "Thneeds" (a mysterious do-everything product) out of the trees, and is responsible for them disappearing.
