Meeting Dates: 
Only returning gardeners from the 2019 8th Street SE Community Garden may register for gardens from Tuesday, January 13 through Friday, February 28, 2020 and only from 8am to 5pm. Returning gardeners can only register for their EXACT same gardens from the year before (2019). They may register for fewer gardens, but not more than their previous two. They may not switch gardens until Monday, March 2, 2020. NEW GARDENERS may register, beginning Monday, March 2, 2020 at 8am.

Description: Get one or two 10 by 20 foot Community Gardens to grow your spring, summer, fall and winter vegetables. This is an environment friendly, YEAR-ROUND garden area with sociable gardeners, red-wing blackbirds, and all the water you need (water is turned off November 3, 2019 and turned on March 28, 2020), provided by the City of Auburn. We're asking for a chemical free, GREEN environment this year. Planting begins on Saturday, March 28. You must make proof of planting by April 25 or we will have the option of re-renting your garden. We also request (not demand) that Community Gardeners consider donating any extra produce to the Auburn Food Bank. If you need assistance in harvesting or delivering your produce for/to the Auburn Food Bank, you may contact the Auburn Youth Council at 253-804-5052 for assistance.
