Description

Learn historic skills, trades, and crafts at this Museum camp. Each day we’ll explore crafts and traditional skills like dyeing cloth and making butter, learn how people survived and lived in WA hundreds of years ago, and become Jr. Curators!

This is a half day camp that will meet from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the White River Valley Museum. Before Care is not available for this camp. Camp will follow current CDC and DOH guidelines.

For the convenience of reserving a spot in a camp, you may make a $25 deposit per camp. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable to other camps or classes. All deposits are applied to the total session fee. Full fees are due by end of day Thursday, six business days prior to each session. Balances will automatically be scheduled to be paid by credit/debit card or electronic transfer provided by you at time of registration. If your full payment is not received seven days prior to the start of camp, your spot will no longer be reserved and your deposit is forfeited. Registrations received less than seven business days from the start of camp will be assessed an additional $25. Registrations for all camps will end at 12:00 p.m. on the Friday (or last business day of the week) prior to the camp. Refunds or credits are not issued for days or partial days missed. Please call the Parks, Arts & Recreation Department at 253-931-3043 for full refund policy. This camp is part of the Mix & Match half day camps offered this summer. Match this camp with another half day camp in the same week and receive a $15.00 discount. This is a half day camp that will meet from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Before camp care is available starting at 7:00 am at The REC. Transportation is provided to Mary Olson Farm. Campers must be at The REC by 8:30am. Transportation is provided back to The REC at end of program. All campers are required to check in at The REC for all camps.
