Perfect for beginners and intermediates alike, this class is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to jewelry making, from basic techniques to more advanced skills. For the intermediate students there will be a greater emphasis on self-directed projects. Introduction to Jewelry Making will include techniques for stringing beads, sawing, filing, and sanding metal, an overview of beading materials and tools, as well as basic wire work techniques, including wire wrapping and wire weaving Sawing, piercing and soldering wire and sheet.
