Description
Students will learn about color relationships and color balance, along with watercolor techniques and specifics of the media through a variety of well-staged, colorful still-life settings. Students will learn some drawing for pencil groundwork as well. No experience necessary.

Required Class Supplies: "Strathmore" (or similar) Watercolor paper (cold press) 18"x24", 140 lb Sketchboard 23 1/2"x26" with clips, or piece of Masonite sized as paper with a couple of large bull dog clips, several school type (#2) pencils, school eraser, a set of round watercolor brushes (#2,4,8,10), flat plastic pallet for watercolor mixing, "Yarka" semi-moist watercolor set of 8 or 12 colors, wide neck, plastic cup for cleaning brushes.
