CAMP ART ACADEMY Week #5, Ages 5-8 | Form + Proportion

Successful sculptures require risk, collaboration, logistical planning, creativity, and the utilization of knowledge from across many fields of study. Students will not only practice art this week, but they will also utilize science, technology, and engineering to build sculptures and large-scale art! Students will observe and play with form and proportion while using a wide variety of techniques, tools, and materials to safely create artwork. Before collaborating with classmates to make their ideas come to life, students will study work by artists from around the world like Karen Lamonte, Constantin Brâncu?i and AAC alumni Maria Longworth Nichols Storer, Judy Ledgerwood, and Tom Wesselmann.Read our protocols here.
