CAMP ART ACADEMY Week #2, Ages 9-12 | Space + Balance

Installation art requires artists to think outside the box! Installations inspire exploration, foster a sense of community, and create an impactful experience for viewers. Students will learn the importance of space and balance in visual art while gaining many skills related to both artmaking and life. Students will practice collaboration and creative problem-solving while they experiment with materials and calculate successful ways to exhibit their work. To see their concept transmute into its final form, students will learn and employ knowledge from various art mediums. Projects will be informed by artists around the world like Kurt Schwitters, Chiharu Shiota, and Urs Fischer in addition to notable AAC alumni Robert Ladislas Derr and Lê Hi?n Minh.Read our protocols here.
