Description
Therapeutic Recreation Dance offers dance classes to adults and teens (12+) with differing developmental and intellectual abilities. Join us as we stay active and have fun dancing - no experience necessary. Good body awareness and control of assistive devices (if used) are needed. Classes feature:
-physically integrated modern dance technique
-partner stretching
-contact improvisation
-choreography
Get ready to create, explore and choregraph your own moves in this 90 minute session. Breaks will be incorporated, please feel free to bring your own snack. Class will be led by Susan Wiesner.
