Description
For new and beginner level soccer players to improve ball skills, agility, speed, and knowledge of the game in an indoor setting. Sessions are tailored to group's ability. This is a two day a week commitment. Players will be split into teams and will meet for practice on Tuesday afternoons. Games will be held on Fridays.
The practice format consists of soccer instruction (which may include dribbling, passing, shooting, 1v1 to goal, and defense) and games. Each week, players will learn a different skill/element of the game. Coaches may aim to have a small sided scrimmage in the last 15-20 minutes of each session.
Games will consist of two 20-minute halves. Teams will either play 6v6 or 7v7 depending on enrollment numbers. Each team will receive their own colored practice shirt to wear for the game.
Practice Days/Times: Tuesday afternoons from June 3 - July 29 from 3:45pm - 4:45pm
Game Days/Times: Friday afternoons from Just 6 - August 1 at either 4:30pm or 5:15pm.
Please note that we will not meet for practice or game on July 1 or July 4. Enjoy the holiday!

Players must wear shin guards covered by long socks, and any type of athletic shoe will be acceptable. Beginning Fall 2024, turf shoes, indoor shoes, or tennis shoes are required for all activities held at the Apex Field House. We are no longer allowing outdoor soccer cleats.
