Preschool Level 1
Ages 3-5
Our entry level class for kids ages 3-5 introduces students to the water and teaches them life-saving skills and comfort in a fun and engaging way. This class incorporates games, toys, and positive support so students can grow their confidence.
Participants will learn how to:
- Enter and exit water safely and independently
- Breathe and blow bubbles with mouth and nose
- Dunk underwater to retrieve toys
- Start scooping and kicking with support
- Push off the wall and glide forward with support
- Float on front and back with support
Participants will learn safety skills such as: always swimming with a grown-up and how to appropriately use floaties and identify Lifeguards.

All refunds are subject to a $7 service charge per activity unless class/activity is cancelled by the City of Antioch Recreation Department. Refunds take up to 3-6 weeks to receive in the mail. No refunds for non-attendance, one day workshops/classes or materials fees.
