
AFTERSCHOOL FUN STOP

Description
Do you have virtual school at home covered? Have you created a learning pod or a neighborhood group for your kids? Bring them all to the FUN STOP after school and gain a few hours to tackle life! This program is intended to be flexible support for families. Don’t get locked into a week long program when you don’t need it. Pre-registration is required but create the a la carte schedule that works for you. Kids will be engaged in organized outdoor/indoor sports and activities so they can have fun, move around and get some fresh air after a day of learning. Supplies: Participants should bring a snack and water each day.
AGE REQUIREMENTS
Age requirements have been established to safely facilitate age-appropriate activities.
COMMUNICATION
On-going communication between staff and parents is critical to your child achieving a successful and fun experience at this program. If at any time you need to share information, concerns or compliments, we encourage you to speak with a staff member. To contact your child during the program, please call (678) 297-6130.
SIGN IN/SIGN OUT PROCEDURES
For the safety of all, children must be signed in and signed out each day. Children may only be picked up and signed out by an authorized person (indicated at time of registration). Children may not sign themselves in or out. Please be ready to show a photo I.D. to a staff member.
ATTIRE & PERSONAL ITEMS
All children should wear comfortable clothing each day and athletic shoes (no flip-flops). Participants are discouraged from bringing personal items such as electronics, jewelry or items of value. Participants are responsible for their personal possessions. The City of Alpharetta Recreation Parks & Cultural Services Department is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items brought to this program.
MEDICATION
If your child needs medicine while at this program, you will need to fill out an Authorization to Give Medication Form. You can get this form by e-mailing kliggett@alpharetta.ga.us.
ILLNESSES
For the protection of all, any child believed to have an infectious illness should not attend. If a staff member becomes aware that child is sick, the parent or guardian will be called to pick up the child.
