Experienced sailors only! Must have instructor approval to register.

Designed as a foundation course for beginner racers, this four day intro to racing and rules is a broad based sailing course that covers race boat handling as well as basic strategy and tactics. Course concludes with 3 hour regatta on Saturday. (KK)

This face paced, fun filled racing camp is taught by Lake Arlington's very own Rori Bywater. As a freshman member of Jacksonville University's sailing team, Rori was named SAISA (South Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association) sailor of the week. Jacksonville's sailing team is ranked 15th out of 63 teams, with Rori placing no lower than 6th at the regattas she competed in. Happy to be representing Arlington Heights while away at school, she wants to share knowledge back at home with our new camp.
