A memorial bench is the perfect way to accent one of our parks and provides a special place of remembrance. Inscribe on one of our memorial benches a message of love, recognition, hope, or whatever you desire. The historical dedication provides a lasting tribute in honor of a loved one and enhances the meaning of a bench to park users. The Arlington Heights Park District memorial benches are 6 foot wide with recycled plastic cedar panels and cast iron supports and reside on an ADA accessible concrete bench pad. Additionally, a personalized 2"x10" bronze plaque in honor of your loved one is included. Total cost for the Memorial Bench is $2,500.00, which includes the bench, installation, upkeep, and a remembrance plaque. Exact location will be coordinated at time of purchase and is subject to approval by Park District staff. Contributions are tax deductible. If you have a specific request please contact Memorial Donation Department to verify that your request can be accommodated. Order forms are also available at the Administration Center, 410 N. Arlington Heights Road. Call 847-577-3009 for more information or email: memorial@ahpd.org

Honor that special person or occasion with the Park District's Living Memorial program. You can choose from a selection of shade trees, ornamental trees or evergreens, and with a $440 donation, purchase a tree in a selected park. An engraved name plate is also displayed on a plaque at the Administration Center. Orders are accepted throughout the year, but will be placed with the nursery once in early spring and once in early fall based on tree establishment and growth success patterns (i.e. evergreens do best when planted in the spring). Plantings are dependent upon weather. Please note: The Arlington Heights Park District will be responsible for warranty of your memorial tree for a maximum of four years after planting. If you have a specific request please contact our Memorial Donation Department to verify that your request can be accommodated. Order forms are also available at the Administration Center, 410 N Arlington Heights Road. Call 847-577-3009 for more information or email: memorial@ahpd.org
