NOTE: PAYMENT PLAN IS 15 DAYS FOR THIS CLASS!

Prerequisite: successful completion of Nurse Aide Certification or Personal Care Certification courseDesigned for anyone seeking employment as a medication aide, this course will provide instruction and training on the procedures for preparation and administration of medication with instruction in the classroom, lab and assisted living facilities. Students will complete a minimum of 40 hours in class and 28 hours in a clinical setting. After successfully completing this course, students are eligible to take the Virginia Board of Nursing exam. A valid ID is required. A TB test will be done before attending clinical (fee not included). Uniforms (not included) are required. Board of Nursing registration fee included in class fee. Testing fee not included.

Notes:

Class- Mar. 2-Apr. 1 Monday through Wednesday 6-9pm

Clinicals -Apr. 6-8 Monday through Wednesday 7am-3pm

National certification testing fee is the student's responsibility.
Use door 3 to enter the building.
