THIS IS A ONLINE COURSE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Prerequisite: healthcare certificate or working in the health care field

This program is for students with a medical background that are interested in entering the field of hemodialysis as a patient care technician. It will also prepare those who already work in the field to take a national certification exam. It will provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties required of a dialysis technician. There are no clinical rotations or certification tests provided for this class. High school diploma or equivalency required.

Proof of high school diploma or equivalency is required on the first night of class.
