Electrical Technician II

This is the second part of a three-semester course. This class continues with electrical skills and theory, however, the primary focus is the National Electrical Code Book (NEC). Students must be proficient with NEC to be a successful electrician and to take the journeyman's exam with the state of Virginia. This class qualifies as 90 hours toward the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation's 240-hour requirement for a journeyman's exam tradesman license. There will be limited hands-on learning for the second semester.
