Classes may be held virtually, in person or a hybrid due to Covid 19.
Prerequisite: health care certificate or working in the health care field This course offers classroom and practical instruction on reading electrocardiograms in health care settings. Instruction includes patient preparation, use and maintenance of the electrocardiograph and methods for reading an electrocardiogram. Students will also learn to recognize abnormalities on electrocardiograms. This course is perfect for health care professionals looking to acquire additional skills. After successfully completing this course, students qualify to take the certifying exam. Testing fee not included. High school diploma or equivalency required.
