Description: Ever want to create prerecorded music radio shows? Ever want to broadcast music radio shows live over the Internet? Ever want to create and post DJ mixes online? If you would like to do any one of these three things then this course is for you. You will program a prerecorded music radio show (12 songs) during this course, that will be created and then uploaded to the Internet. Keep in mind music is copyrighted and when played for an audience royalties are required to be paid. This course will teach you how to do the three things mentioned above legally and, depending on what you want to do, either free (prerecorded radio shows and/or dj mixes) or inexpensively (live and/or full time radio station). Best of all; the ways I teach all have third parties responsible (both procedurally and legally) for sending in the required paperwork and royalty payments themselves so there is no work, concern or legal responsibility for the royalties on your part. As a bonus you will understand how the radio industry (for music) works; something many music artists themselves don't know. Please note - if you want to include yourself talking on the radio show (e.g. name of songs, interesting facts about artists/songs, etc.) you will need to have a microphone attached to your computer at home (you can use your phone if not) and a flash drive for the voice files you create at home to bring to class. If you use your computer at home to create the voice files; you'll learn how to do that in class. The songs used for the shows created in this course will be songs on my radio station's server (you will choose the ones you want from my 5,421 songs - and growing – for your show). You will be able to create your own custom shows with your music on your own as well after learning how during this course.
