Description

Put the zip in your garments! Learn the secrets of installing a zipper into any garment. This class is for intermediate students who have mastered the basic skills. Topics covered will be the conventional zipper, exposed zipper, open ended zipper and invisible zipper. Machines provided. Students should bring 2 zippers (1 conventional & 1 invisible, 9 - 12 inches in length), scrap woven fabric, scissors, thread, pins and hand stitch needles. Instructor: Anne Reinstein, owner of All Sewn Up! 2 weeks.

LOCATION: Tappan Middle School, 2251 E. Stadium, Life Skills Room. Enter on the west side of the building and take the stairs or elevator to the 3rd floor. The Life Skills Room is about halfway down the hall on the left.
