Grades: K-5th. Reach for the stars and explore the wonders of the universe while learning fun and creative techniques to paint, draw, and craft your own galaxy. Construct vibrant backgrounds, design unique planets, and create glowing constellations with special paints. And because you'll be traveling through space and need a helmet, fashion one from scratch and personalize it to your liking. While flying around and encountering a few aliens, pull out your brushes and paint an alien family portrait! Towards the end of your journey, build a 3D cosmic mobile filled with all of your newly formed stars and planets. Join us while we combine science and imagination to inspire the most fantastical cosmic creations! Scholarship recipients pay a $20 material fee. Instructor: Namrata Khemka. 6 classes. No 2/6, 2/13.
