Description

18 months-2 years & an Adult. Get ready for Fantastic Fall Fun with Alexia! Children and adults will use senses and investigative skills to observe signs of the changing season together at the park: autumn colors, the cool breeze and the cold earth, the rustling wind and the cruching leaves, and the scents of the season. Nature will inspire us to create our own art and musical masterpieces. Each class includes and introduction tot he day's activities, free choice time for exploration of nature and hands-on activities, and circle time with fall songs, storeis, fingerplays, and other group activities. Alexia brings a wealth of experience to First Steps families from her years as an early childhood teacher and administraotr, parent educator, mom to teenagers and more. Come dressed for the weather - class meets rain or shine! Participants will physical/social distance and commit to weekly self-health screenings. Masks are encouraged but not required unless social distancing can't be maintained, which will be at the discretion of the insturctor/coach with assistance from parent participants (age 2 and up).
