Description

Rec & Ed is excited to offer a comprehensive youth tennis program for players at any age and ability, giving them a solid skill set to play this great sport for life. All camps feature instruction with fun games, and friendly competition on the last day. All players must bring water and snack daily. For more details, visit our website a2schools.org/recedtennis. Camps run Monday - Thursday with Friday as rain make-up day if necessary. Camps are held outdoors with no indoor back up. Scholarships available, $50 co-pay. Age appropriate racquets and balls provided.

Orange Ball, 60’ Court, Up to 25” racquet.

Level 1: Beginner

Level 2: Adv Beg/Intermediate

Orange balls fly faster and kids move faster, cover more distance, and use a wider selection of shots. Players love the Orange court!

Instructor: Ann Arbor Rec & Ed certified instructors.

*Summer 2021 Youth Tennis Policies (Camps and Classes):

Players/parents/coaches must complete Covid Waivers/Prescreening requirements prior to attending, and practice social distancing. Maximum 4 players per court. Players should bring water and racquet. Review USTA Player Safety Guidelines. Social distancing will be enforced and current (at time of offering) AAPS COVID 19 Safety Requirements & Procedures will be followed. Bathroom access limited to portable toilet. No building access. Call Tennis Weather Hotline at 734 994 2300 x53117, and check email for weather related cancellations.
