Description: Ages 1.5 - 3 years & an Adult. Did you know fine motor skills refer to small movements of the hands and fingers including the smaller muscles of the face and even feet? Learn creative, homemade activities in this “make and do” class while experiencing materials like pasta, play-doh and paint in new and deliberate ways. Encouraging fine motor dexterity prepares your child for drawing, cutting, zipping, and manipulating small objects. Class includes time to learn new songs and rhymes with hand and finger motions, share outcomes with other families and laugh together in a classroom setting at home all with the focus on Fine Motor Fun! A contactless supply pick up takes place on January 25th at the Westerman Preschool and Family Center for some of the materials needed in class. More details for supply pick up provided following registration. By the end of the session, families will have a great collection of simple yet challenging activities to use over and over! Instructor: Susanna Brown. 7 classes. Scholarship recipients pay $10.
